Reus to Benicassim

Hi Craig,

This route is definitely possible, but not all of it is available to buy online as far as I can tell. I checked the timetable on Deutsche Bahn and found that there are several suitable options, all of them going via Tarragona.

My advice would be to buy the Tarragona-Benicassim part of the trip now and just hop on a train from Reus to Tarragona when you arrive. It's only a 14 minute journey and it a popular route for people arriving into the airport so walk-on tickets should be easy to find.

From Tarragona to Benicassim takes an 1 hr 40 mins, and costs around £38 return on Loco2.

There are potentially some cheapter 'Turista' fares via the Renfe website but the cheapest (€15.60 each way) are for the Regional Express train which takes 3 hours. Might not be worth it for the sake of saving a couple of quid. You may also be able to get an e-ticket which Loco2 doesn't currently have for this route.

Sorry, I don't think I had my brain switched on. At the moment we can't sell postal tickets for this journey because it's too soon. We need 10 days to guarantee they arrive in time. So, a couple of suggestions:

Go to Renfe and buy an e-ticket. You'll receive a pdf which you can print and a confirmation email.

Or go to Rail Europe. They have the exact same ticket stock as Loco2 and you can choose Special Delivery which costs around £8.
