We have been informed that a strike will take place in Spain on 3rd August 2012 from 00:00 until 24:00, affecting RENFE services. We do not have a list of all trains that are affected, however the affected trains are no longer open for sale.
RENFE AFTER-SALES Customers with tickets valid to travel on a domestic train in Spain on 3rd August can get a full refund on their ticket, regardless of the after-sales conditions stated on the ticket, if they opt not to travel.
Customers who do (and can) travel, will be offered a place on an alternative train, if their train is disrupted or cancelled. If the customer travels in an inferior class of service to their ticket (i.e Standard class when their ticket is valid in First) they will be refunded the difference in price between a first class ticket and a standard class ticket.
