Hello again, Perhaps consider the night train which runs every day (this is part of the Spanish Trenhotel fleet) between Grenada and Barcelona. This journey takes around eleven hours and it's around £85 for a berth in a four-bed compartment. Alternatively there is one service which runs during the day (called the Enlace) , which is not available on Loco2. This also takes around eleven hours and is available to buy as an e-ticket from Renfe. I would recommend using them if you would prefer to travel during the day. 9 months, 2 weeks ago

Thak u Kate for your help.... Iam non EU resident and am planning to come in the month of October. I only found bus tickets from Grenada to BCN tt takes more than 20 hrs travel, which is exhuasting...and plane tickets exceed our budget. :( So I thoght tt trains is the best way. However, I could not find a direct train from Granada to BCN. I will try to search again for train tickets by next month. Thanx for the sites that u gave,... Thank you again... 9 months, 2 weeks ago

Hi, If you want to go by day train, you're right to wait until nearer the time so that the tickets you want are inside the 62 booking window. You might find this time and date calculator useful to find the date when your preferred travel date becomes available. The Enlace train does seem to include change at Linares-Baeza. But you would need to check the exact journey details when you place your booking with Renfe. 9 months, 2 weeks ago

Hi, Loco2 doesn't currently sell railpasses. However, we recommend that you purchase a pass from www.interrailnet.com if you're a European citizen, or Eurail if you're a non-EU resident. You can read more information about the difference between Interrail and Eurail passes in this post. Alternatively we can help you to find some point to point tickets for your trip. I have been able to find trains from Barcelona to Grenada for £38, also from Grenada to Codova for £21.50 in September. I think that point to point tickets will be cheaper than buying a railpass for these short journeys. Generally it is only possible to purchase tickets for Spanish trains 62 days in advance so this may explain why you weren't able to find trains. The only exception is the AVE trains which run between Barcelona and Madrid as these go on sale 120 days in advance during summer months. The vast majority of other trains only have a 62 day period of sale. When are you planning to travel? I hope this helps. If you have a more specific question then let me know and I'll do my best. 9 months, 3 weeks ago
