Intercités de Nuit

Previously named "Lunea" Intercités de Nuit are an excellent suite of night services providing access across the majority of France.

Couchette The fully air conditioned 4 - 6-berth couchette compartments come with a pillow, sleeping bag and reading light. 4-berth compartment are slightly more expensive with wider beds for added comfort and can be booked for 1,2,3 or 4 people. Compartments are normally mixed, however women can opt to travel in female only compartments. Washing facilities and toilets can be found at the end of each carriage, with powerpoints for electric shavers.

Seating To save expense, ordinary reclining seats are available with generous legroom, armrest and footrests. These seats include the use of washing and toilet facilites which can be found at the end of each carriage. However personally, Loco2 would not recommend a seat for an overnight service.

Luggage Each passenger is permitted to bring two bags/suitcases plus one piece of hand luggage on-board. Spaces for larger pieces of luggage (such as bikes, skis, pushchairs, and surf boards under 3m) can be found at the end of each carriage. There is no weight limit to baggage.
